About Us
New Hope is a community of people who have met the Lord Jesus Christ and have found new life in him. So many people are disconnected from God and whatever religious background they had growing up. We want to help people get connected (or re-connected).

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. no one comes to the Father except through me."
In a world that can be pretty dark, we point people to Jesus because he’s the Light of the world. He reconnects us with God and with each other. He gives us hope and a future and abundant life.
And part of that life together takes place in the church.
When we started New Hope, one thing we really wanted was to be a community where people really love one another.
At New Hope, we are like family. We want Long Island to be a better place because New Hope exists. We invite you to join us in this journey.
Our Mission

Why We Are
Non-Denominational
New Hope is not affiliated with any particular denomination.
We are Christian- we worship and follow the teachings of scripture. We see the Bible as the living word of God and try to bring our lives into alignment with what it says.

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

We are confessional – we affirm the historic, ecumenical creeds of the church and in that we relate with other churches that worship and exalt Jesus as Lord.

God has brought people to New Hope from all sorts of backgrounds – Catholic, Baptist, Lutheran, Pentecostal, you name it. Labels don’t matter to us as much as knowing Jesus, following and growing closer to him. We do that together.
Because we are united in Christ, we are family – brothers and sisters in Christ.
Affiliations
